Does it look good, yes. Does it look as good as the PSVR version, no. Am I still able to play it and have fun, yes.
The story is great and actually pretty long. I’ll definitely play it through again and I can’t wait for part 2.
I really love this game. It really makes me feel like I’m in the movie and I’m actually like pavilions and everything is so fun but I do wish they would had an auto save because sometimes I would forget to probably save an apple juice on my progress, but it’s OK. Still a good game. and it does make me get scared sometimes which is good for a horror game
I love the franchise, so that does have some influence here. Overall, I think it was a pretty great shooter. I enjoyed the immersion and jump scares with the ongoing dialogue and messages history to reveal what happened. There are some clunky UI and graphics issues here and there as well as some repetition. I bought on sale and it was worth the price. I do wish for an autosave feature but I didn't have too much trouble getting to save stations other than at the end. Looking forward to part 2.
Update!
Still no Quest Achievements...
Previous Review:
Other platforms get them, but no Achievements on Quest...
This should have been called Alien Lesbian Incursion. Ridiculous gender politics pushing throughout the game. Give it a rest already. It completely depletes the quality of the writing. The actress who does the voiceover for the lead protagonist is not good and becomes grating early on in the game. The game play involves a lot of backtracking and the same constant mimi puzzle to open doors. Not much creativity there.

After the beautiful Alien Isolation for PC, here's another beautiful chapter in VR. I'm waiting forward to Part 2 hoping it will be even better.
