Retro fun!
I'm really enjoying By Grit Alone so I wanted to see if the developer had any other games on the store.
Normally I'm not into this type of strategy game but to my surprise I really enjoy the gameplay.
I love the retro look! The rendering is similar in style to Walkabout Mini Golf only with some real time cast shadows and old school computer references.
Right away the game caught my attention with the vintage synthesized computer voice. It reminded me of the voice in 1988's Captain Blood on the Amiga.
My only complaint so far is that you have to grab controls with the trigger instead of the grab button. Maybe you can use either button in the full version. I'll find out because I'm buying it once I finish By Grit Alone.
Smart Robot Saves Dumb Human
[+2] good demo that showcases the game mechanics, [+2] unique gameplay where you play as robot in a control room that operates cameras, doors and drones to guide a dumb human to the exit and herd the aliens that try to kill him into holding pens, [-1] graphics is rudimentary and poor, [0] the humour is hit or miss
