Punch dinosaurs, battle shotgun-wielding ninjas and dodge devious traps in Action Hero, a blockbuster VR FPS with explosive set pieces and cinematic design.
Fight your way through six bombastic movies, stepping into the hero’s shoes. Gameplay proceeds in slow motion, only speeding up as the player moves. Lean around bullets with stylish satisfaction, catch weapons in mid-air and take down enormous bosses.

For the devs eyes only: The game itself, the movies, and the art style is great, but I have a couple recommendations.
First of all, checkpoints. If you look at a similar game like super hot, they have only around 3 scenarios per checkpoint, but your game is split into around five scenes. This can make gameplay much less engaging because you constantly have to go through three or four scenes you already played for a retry on one later scene you can’t beat. If you could shorten the checkpoints to every three or four scenes, it would make gameplay much more engaging.
Secondly, timing. You don’t really want to throw enemies and streams of bullets at the player immediately when they enter a scene, especially if it’s not the start of a scene and they switch from a previous scene straight into a scene with multiple dangers flying at them with no time to react. It would be much better if you gave the player about 1.5 seconds to register the scene before enemies start shooting and enter the scene.this makes it so the player spends more time dying to actual fights, and not getting shot immediately when entering a new scene because they can’t see the bullet that was shot at them immediately as the scene started flying at them.
I would appreciate it if you respond as soon as possible, though I know you are taking a break from updates due to “unfortunate circumstances “ and obstacles. Hope you overcome these.
Its one of my all time favorite games. Just buy it. It's Not too easy, not too hard, plus adjustments in settings to customize difficulty levels in different ways. It's got that bullet time/ superhot "chrono-tempo" (time moves when you move) locomotion and many different types of weapons (katana sword, ninja stars, throwing knives, Machine guns, pistols, shot guns, grenades, wrenches, lead pipes, your fists, and of course THE GOLDEN GUN![unlimited ammo]. I beat the game and now I am working on " directors cut". Which means you can play the game twice all the way through and its different the second time. Plus some regular add movies when updates are added.
** YO DEVELOPERS !**
PLEASE KEEP UPDATING WITH MORE NEW WEAPONS AND "MOVIES"
-you guys did a KICK@SS JOB!
What's with the random gun twirling. it's ridiculous.
A very cool re-imagination of Superhot. It really makes you feel like you're inside a movie. The only downside for me: it's more of a memory game than a reaction-based one. You have to memorize each scene over and over until it becomes automatic. By the end, this process gets tedious and boring.
If your a fan of puzzle style FPS than Action Hero is your game. It takes all the things that made superhot awesome and cranks it up! Not blowing smoke… this game feels like Indiana Jones and superhot had a baby while Micheal Bay directed to process. The scenes are fun and intense. I have a brief review on YouTube. Look for me on there PR-IN-VR and check my review playlist.
The graphics are not bad but the game mechanics are so poorly implemented its not worth finishing
