Waste

I was excited to play then I hopped on and the game said it was easy so I wanted to shoot a deer and I couldn't get it to release then I had to yank the controller and it shot but went 100 feet in the air when I tried to adjust it it did no work at all it just kept going everywhere so I deleted it and the 3.99 a month sounds like a good price but now I have to find some way to get a refund I been trying for almost 1 hour don't get it is a waste of money trust me

Crappy Display And Overpriced Fees.

I got the accubow and looked at the trailer for it thinkin it would be good. I didn't know that you would either have to pay $3.99 a week $39.99 a year or $80.00 for a one time purchase. When I lined up th left controller like it said the bow was off target and I didn't know how to line it up correctly. I recommend to not buy this product. We payed $180.00 fi the total bow and the fees. Very overpriced and I expect better.

Disclaimer:
The Accubow 2.0 with a phone is probbably just worse the than the VR game and more expensive.

Disappointed

As a hunter and father of a young archery enthusiast i was so excited for this bow and game. Well, the game is extreemly hard to get the bow calibrated and then it doesnt hold zero at all. The game it self has nice graphics but good luck ever getting to shoot, time runs out or no matter how hard you try your shot just misses. Its frustrating and a huge disappointment. Also i bought the expensive AF bow to then have to buy a game that is over priced... *0 out of 5 stars WOULD NOT RECOMMEND*

Really want to like this game

Update: The new version is better. I do more more testing this week. Needs a sensitivity control as I can’t hold it steady enough to keep the string and peep steady enough to be any good at sighting.

I show bow and arrow as a kid and thought this would be a great way to practice it again. Have thought about buying several time and quickly pulled the trigger when they came out with a VR version.

The interface is clunky and gameplay is frustrating. Haven’t even attempted a hunt as target practice leaves me frustrated. Arrows randomly shoot and holding it steady is almost impossible. Peep seems to move even after calibration. Calibration has to be done every time No way to save a calibration setting.

Really hope updates are coming soon as to not regret my purchase

Calibration is a pain

I could not get my VR accubow to calibrate. Please make it easier to calibrate. i will try it again later to see if I can get it to calibrate.
Updated my review: from ** to ****
I finally figured out how to use this app, Calibration took about 5-10 seconds; you just need to hold the bow with your left hand and look straight. And this time it works for me. The first time, my bow shoot a little higher than my aim, so I recalibrated it again by holding it a little lower than my shoulder. The graphics are not bad at all compared to other VR games. I played a couple of games like the Zombie and Serious Hunting games. BTW, you press B to get your right control pointer so you can access menu, etc.. Compared to their 2.0 - Carbon Fiber Archery Trainer with phone mount (yes, I owned that too), I think the phone mount is still better, but eventually, hopefully VR version would improve, esp the arrow flying seems awkward sometimes. Earlier, yes, the bow sometimes shoots itself, but this time, I do not have that issue. I bought their lifetime subscription, so not bad at all once I know how to use it.

Don't waste your money

I usually don't don't do reviews but this was so disappointing. You have to buy the bow which is expensive then you need a subscription which isn't worth it. Game play sucks the animals stay still just walk back and forth, the bow on the screen loses the rear sight and continue have to recalibrate. Hopefully they see these reviews and fix it
