Xtadium

Try to watch any media and it says it can’t connect to servers and to contact servers. Not sure what to do

I’ve watched NBA Courtside, followed Copa América from the sidelines, and experienced the Stanley Cup Finals right behind the glass — all from my couch. With Xtadium’s immersive tech, it genuinely feels like you’re in the arena, front row and center. Whether it’s UFC, IndyCar, Australian Open, X-Games, or more — Xtadium brings the action to you like never before.

I just literally watched game 6 of the Stanley cup finals from the best seats in the house and it was pretty incredible. I imagine people with limited internet connections would give a negative review otherwise this is amazing!

I was blown away by the Stanley Cup Final coverage in VR! Camera cuts were a bit jarring at first, but once I understood the flow of how the cameras followed the action, they became more natural. You got to feel the action behind the net, over center ice, and along the boards. It was sick!

Update 6/14/25:

Game 3 started off terrible in the 1st with distorted motion blur making it absolutely unwatchable. I restarted the headset multiple times and it didn't really improve anything. But by periods 2 and 3 it seems the issues had resolved and it was much better.

Didn't watch much of game 4 but things were working decent. Game 5 has been good so far. Upping my review to 4 stars because this could be so d-mn cool once they figure it all out.

Feedback:
Video needs to be 3d 180 instead of 2d and that will be an absolute game changer.
I love the TV feed at the top of the screen. Part of game 5 didn't have that and I instantly missed it. Too many of the angles make it impossible to see what's going on so being able to look up makes a huge difference.
The cameras behind the net should be about 5 ft higher. It's the most difficult angle to see what's going on unless the puck ends up in the back of the net.
Probably a physics issue but the cameras mounted to the glass shake too much when players bump into the boards. It quickly makes the viewer woosy when it shakes so much.
A better interface would be great in game. No real options to even pause the feed. I usually have to exit to the lobby and go back in. And too often the interface pops up for no reason and I have to keep clicking buttons until it disappears.
Ultimately it would be amazing to be able to switch the cameras myself. There could be the automatic one controlled by the app, but then let the users switch between the 5 (or possibly more down the line). This level of control would make this an absolute must watch experience in sports.
TLDR: Very cool but needs some work

Original review: Tried to watch the NHL Final game. Just sat in a lobby and waited for the menu to load. Restarted it a couple of times but no luck. It worked OK a few days ago for the hockey game, although it froze a lot and had distorted frames quite often. Maybe someday they'll get it right.

Last night I used it for the first time to watch Game 4 of Oilers vs Panthers Stanley Cup Final. I was absolutely blown away!!! When it first started I had a lot of lag time, but I remained patient and eventually if streamed perfectly the remainder of the game. The experience is like nothing I've ever seen on my Meta Quest 3. The action was right in your face. You can tell the real-life audience was rattling the glass because the camera moves! You are in the action. And the overlay of the TNT telecast was brilliant! I love being able to see the real arena while listening to play-by-play. When the broadcast goes to commercial, you are just a regular member in the audience. I love it. Also, the seat right behind the goalie is intense! You see puck on net every time. Incredible. I can't wait to use this for more live games and more sports.
