Perfect app for finding wifi dead spots
I've always been curious about wifi signal strength and what affects it. Walking around the house with a cell phone seeing if the signal is 1-, 2-, or 3-bars is annoying.
I stumbled across this app today. Wow.
With this app, you just walk around your house/office/apartment (using passthrough/mixed reality), and it shows markers every few feet showing the signal strength (also letting you seeing latency, download speed, and interferences for us geeky folk).
Pretty simple, but I now know where the dead spots are. When I get a chance, I'll try tweaking the router antenna and see if I can improve it in one of the weak spots.
