I use my Schwinn IC4 with this app, and it pairs seamlessly with my bike. The settings work well, and I appreciate the head-steering option. While the radio feature is nice, I typically prefer using my headphones. Although I haven't explored the games yet, I've tried both the Google Earth rides and the virtual rides. The Google Earth rides were a disappointment—they can make you dizzy due to the jarring transitions between static frames, which are poorly stitched and low quality. It’d be much better if these rides were real virtual tours recorded from a bike, as this would offer a smoother experience without frequently shifting viewpoints. As they stand, these rides aren't useful to me.
However, the virtual rides are enjoyable and remind me of riding motorcycles and cars in Second Life, although Second Life has superior image quality. The downside is that there are only four virtual rides available, which might get repetitive soon.
If the company can't afford real recordings, they should focus on expanding the virtual rides, which are likely more cost-effective to create. Additionally, the particle effects during acceleration don’t adequately convey speed; the animation should also accelerate, with surroundings passing by more quickly.
Regarding the pricing, $11 per month feels steep for what's offered. In comparison, Supernatural charges $15 per month and provides a wide range of workouts with great music, coaches, and impressive visuals—too bad they don't include cycling.
I hope they keep on improving the app because it's really the best one I found so far.
After a year away, I have returned to VZFit. I moved and gave my Peloton to my son because I had no room for it and now I do, so he gave it back to me. I didn’t realise how much I missed riding to all the different countries and how it made exercise so easy for me. I’m 72 years old and try to stay as active as possible, but this program makes it real easy. Thank you VZfit . Your support is amazing!

Works great with the wahoo cadence sensor and my indoor spin bike
I bought my Quest 3, then VZ Fit, then my exercise bike and I haven’t looked back.
I jump on my bike every evening and have just finished cycling from John O’ Groats to Lands End (958 miles). Having a route and an end goal, along with the Google Street View visuals, has made riding an exercise bike a lot more enjoyable.
I have made a list of rides in various locations that I will do.
For £8.99 per month this app is significantly cheaper than joining a gym.
Makes exercise more interesting bu
t is limited in map options unless you buy more courses . Or write reviews for bonus courses to try anything other then the basic demo version.
I’m a cardiac arrest survivor and I use this app everyday. I’m 64 and I started out riding maybe 4 miles a day with it but because it’s so much fun to visit new places, I now ride 12-16 miles a day! Using this app consistently I’ve improved my heart health from an EF rate of 28 to a now rate of over 55! That’s in the normal range . It’s like traveling anywhere you want to in the world! Such an awesome escape from reality. The app uses google for images so it’s only as smooth as google. I get very bad motion sickness but haven’t had any issues with VZFit. After almost 4 years I still use it as much as ever.
