VR Travel Venice Carnival Cannaregio takes you on a unique walk through Venice during Carnival. As Sam, you experience the city from a first-person perspective, accompanied by Dart. Together, you explore the vibrant streets of Cannaregio, stroll through narrow alleys, and browse shop windows filled with Venetian masks and crafts.

Along the way, you encounter many people – tourists, locals, and elegantly costumed Carnival-goers who bring the city to life. A special moment is meeting Mongolian guests in their traditional attire, which appears as if they, too, are in costume. You cross several bridges, take in scenic canals, and soak up the authentic Venetian atmosphere.

A highlight is crossing the Grand Canal on a Traghetto. These special gondolas are larger than regular ones, carrying up to 15 passengers. They are operated by two gondoliers – one at the stern and another near the bow. Used by locals and tourists alike, Traghettos offer a quick way to cross the canal. In this tour, you cross at the Santa Sofia – Pescaria station. After reaching the other side, you briefly step off before boarding the same Traghetto for the return journey.

You then continue your walk, further immersing yourself in the city’s charm before reaching the iconic St. Mark’s Square.

This immersive VR tour lasts about an hour, letting you fully experience the magic of the Venice Carnival.

Feel the pulse of the beautiful Venice

I liked this experience: romantic city, carnival time, with 360° FPV being right in the middle of hustle and bustle with uncounted number of tourists, people in beautiful costumes and with intricately designed masks.

Taking Tragheto to cross the Canale Grande twice was for me one of the highlights of the experience. I liked the adorable Mongolian family.
You feel the photorealistic immersion especially when peeking inro the beautiful Venetian shops.

The walking experience ends at Piazza San Marco overcrowded with carnival & Venice lovers. Grand Finale!

If this is "Sam" concept, I must say: it works!
