Do you know where Faroe Islands are? We took an expedition there and filmed all the beauty it can offer. With this app you can fast travel there, just by putting your headset on.

You can enjoy full 360 3D videos of the nicest locations on the island and listen to spatial sounds of the nature accompanied with narrative voice over description of each location in English, German, Danish and now also in Spanish and French!

You can navigate by clicking on Teleport Points, by clicking places on the map or just go through all the places by pushing the joystick forward. If you have difficulties with using a controller (elderly people) you can just press play and the app will take you through all the places, staying everywhere for 20 seconds.

Feel the heights of the cliffs, observe the Puffins, stand under the waterfalls.

The final app now have over 120 viewpoints from around 40 scenes, where you can travel. In each scene (touristic hot spot) you have usually around 3-10 viewpoints, where you can immerse yourself into the beauty of Faroe Islands.

Almost perfect

Great app, it is super easy to use. The content is fascinating, and the silent film-like subtitles that appear when switching between locations are very entertaining.
However I would like to make some suggestions for improvement, regarding the map:
It would be useful to have a highlighter mark around the location currently selected. When I wander spot to spot and bring up the map it would be extremely good to see on the map where I am. And also to show the related description that was just narrated,

Hi! I am glad you have liked my app. The idea of the Highlighter is not bad, I will try to implement it in the future. If you point onto the correct location, you can see the description which was narrated on the left side.
To go thru all the possible locations and views, it is at best to travel without a map, and only use the joystick. By pushing it forward, you will go thru all the locations / views till the end. If you liked Faroe, make sure you check out the Visit Madeira, Visit North Spain or Visit Azores. And thanks again for the constructive feedback!

Great app

Really great app, I was so impressed that I watched it all for the first time. I love coming back and repeating those amazing views. Plus I love those churches and the stunning nature. Keep up the great work and I look forward to more stories.

Awesome experience

I love this app
I'm disabled now after beating cancer 2 years ago so I can no longer drive or walk properly

fantastic experience

BEST tourist VR visit i have ever tried. this app will take you to the islands in the middle of the Atlantic / north sea.. and show you locations only few have ever seen in person. highly recommended.

PS. frankly every tourist destination should make an app like this.

A beautiful experience!

The app is a great way to explore the beautiful landscapes of the Faroe Islands. The 360° 3D videos are really immersive and bring the islands to life – it felt like I was on a mini vacation! I also enjoyed the interesting facts about all the different places.

I can highly recommend this app to anyone looking to experience the beauty of the Faroe Islands or just some beautiful landscapes from home!

Thank you very much for your kind review! I tried my best to shot every nice place I could find. Sometimes the weather did not play with me, as it was raining half of the time, only just a bit, but enough not to be able to take out my camera. On some places it was very windy, but there I took all my courage and done some amazing shots.
