No hot knob gimmicks, only for real DJs
I tried TribeXR... I'm actively giving feedback to Algoriddim's DJay...but this one had be immersed and re-living the glory days of vinyl mixing. No hot-knobbing here, just pure joy of mixing tracks, spindle twisting, an accurate simulation of pitch bend/nudge etc. The real deal.
What is solely lacking and thus I removedna star:
- it's 2025 and MetaQuest3 hand tracking is way advanced so should be implemented. It's a shame all the faithful reproduction of real world knobs and platter control has to be done with clunky hand controllers
- there is no reliable way of using the clever stereo-to-mono out split for cueing on headphones as well as sending to live club speakers.
- no support for midi hardware DJ controllers. Even the lowly and portable Numark DJ2Go2 would be perfect (headphone and line out solved)
Hope the dev takes this feed back and works at the every essential least —implementing hand tracking.
No way of setting BPM
New to dj'ing, thought i'd try this.
the sample songs have BPM in the information against the track, when you upload your own tracks there's no BMP, followed the instructions, and analysed the bpm using Rekordbox and uploaded a xml file to the same folder as the tracks, still nothing.
the instructions say navigate to the file on the pc and hit enter! there is no option on this - slightly disapointed

I used to DJ in clubs 20yrs ago, we got our son the quest 2 and I came across this app. Unbelievable real like. I have techinic 1210s , I've just got figure how to unlock the rest.
