What a stunning blend of poetry, culture, and place. Experiences like this are what make immersive technology so fascinating.
Very interesting variety of environments in Verse, I really enjoyed listening to the music and sounds of nature as I explored. The African village was my favorite, it was something I never experienced before, and I felt like I was there. I also really wish the menu scene was more interactable it feels very cozy.
I've been looking for an experience like Verse VR for a while! I've played a lot of meditation and exploration games in the past, but this feels like a perfect combination of the two.
The environments are varied and absolutely gorgeous. It's so wonderful to relax and listen to classical or folk music, hear iconic poems or rare instruments you wouldn't normally hear, or just sit in a beautifully and thoughtfully realized space and chill.
I enjoyed exploring the environments and running into some great works of poetry that I've always liked while also getting to experience some new ones! Ozymandias and the whole gang are here.
First time I encountered West African griots. Wasn't familiar with their culture, but really enjoyed it. The app is basically for relaxation and immersing in culture. Very simple. If that's up your alley, you'll enjoy it.
Lots of interesting bits of history and culture to learn from while exploring each hotspots. Game is quite pretty.
Would recommend for those who enjoy hiking but in VR!
