The app is okay but theres some things that are super annoying like how the only browser you can use is duck duck go. Google is so much better for the artist because it shows better images for someone to use, and theres more websites that can be easily accessed. The physics of painting is not that good as well. It makes no since when using a bristol brush that i have to enlarge my painting a lot just to paint in a somewhat tiny area. It shouldnt be hard for bristol brushes to put paint on canvas consistently. Another thing is that the lighting is darker overall so its hard to tell what your values are actually like. This is evident as well when exporting it because usually the values of the export and the values of the painting in the game or different. The paint in this game is also very flat. You cant get a lot of texture and variety because the paint is very one dimensional. Another thing is when you mess up and you try to go back a sizable amount it doesnt allow you to go back anymore after about 5 takebacks. There needs to be more brush variety because its pretty stale and thin paint needs to act and behave like paint with a good amount of paint thinner. And another thing is when thinning paint it dilutes it way too much and its super unrealistic and annoying because in real life you would still have tons of saturation when mixing paint thinner.

Vermillion VR is, without a doubt, one of the best creative apps available on vr. But I and many other artist i know almost always like to sketch out a rough composition or a basic outline before we commit to painting. An option to use a simple virtual pencil or charcoal stick would be so helpful in the game please think about making this an option🙏

I used vermillion for a while and then reset my headset. I redownloaded it but it seems unable to determine that I paid.

I’m not much of a artist but this is becoming a nice unwind thing, my only request is that you add a pen-pencil to draw a picture before painting and if possible include paint tubes and use of fingers

Genuinely relaxing and fun. Avoids a lot of discomfort I find in other painting games with hand placement. And holding brushes.
Enjoyed it a lot.
