I have been struggling lately. Obligations both here at home and with my family have made me more than a little bit anxious and worried—and the state of the world hasn’t help any either. I had been unable or maybe unwilling to find time for myself and so recently returned to the VR headset to try to find some peace for myself. TRIPP surprised me in a strongly positive way; it was calming, relaxing, and focusing, and I really appreciate the mental space that using TRIPP afforded me. The visuals are beautiful and the “games“ are engaging— I finish my sessions feeling relaxed and more focused, something I really did not expect from so short a practice.
I have read both the positive and critical reviews, and I would suggest to anyone who has been putting off a purchase that you judge for yourself. There is a trial period to help you assess whether this is right for you. Personally, I am very glad to have TRIPP to help with my meditation practice.
When I needed assistance, customer service was right there and Eren was a bright spot in a stressful week. It’s nice to know that there are still kind people who go the extra mile.
Hope this helps in any decision to try this lovely app.
I have been meditating for 20 years and to be overwhelmed with many options at the start was not a good first impression. I cancelled my trial and will look elsewhere.
I had subscribed to Tripp originally a couple of years ago. I really enjoyed it and used it regularly. Then life was too busy for about a year.
A few months ago I logged back into my Quest and saw there were a few new apps offering similar content as Tripp. I tried out a couple of them.
They're not the same. Tripp is great from the very start with the flower and hummingbird, to the home screen. Yes, even the home screen needs to be in keeping with the overall experience, and Tripp does that.
There were nice experiences in some of the others but not as much content and ability to personalize. Then the home screens... I personally think they should be in keeping with the apps purpose. Leaving a nice experience to be sent to a somewhat sterile home screen environment kinda sterlizes the mood.
So, I knew Tripp was where I wanted to be and loved they now offer a lifetime membership. Had some hiccups in getting my account to let me manage subscriptions, but the Tripp team (Sylvie) was very fast to reply and helped resolve the problem quickly.
Thank you Tripp, and thank you Sylvie!
Unfortunately, I couldn’t access the subscription. I initially wanted to do the free trial that is attached to the year subscription but, when I tried to sign up, it tried to charge me immediately. Instead, I tried the month subscription, which I paid for. Unfortunately, I then got locked into an endless loop of trying to log in, being told an existing account had been detected, and being made to try & log in again. When I tried to use the app to log in, it simply hung on ‘logging in’ and never went any further. A shame as it may well have been a good experience but it simply wouldn’t let me in. Subscription cancelled as I paid for something I never had the chance to use.
Mice but not free
I use this almost 3-4 times a week on a regular basis for reflection, energy, and uplifting reflections. It's amazing how much thought has gone into this and it's well worth the price.
