Awesome!

This is a great app already. Into the Metaverse blew my mind! It was so immersing, and everything was just great to look at and learn about. I CAN NOT wait for Dark Castle and all the other rides to open! You have something truly amazing going with this one. Please keep it up!

You will be happy to learn that The Haunted Castle dark ride is currently being Imagineered and it is a 25 minute, very immersive, and magical experience that really shows off VR Dark Rides even more than Act 1 of Into the Metaverse. I am so excited about it. It will be a free update later this year so keep your eyes on your notifications. Fun!

I went on this and think it is so creative but I couldn't quite figure out the Haunted house part. Looking forward to seeing what comes next!
I am glad I read the reviews so I understood this is in different parts.

Very cool idea. The developer is creating a virtual theme park for showcasing dark rides in VR. So far the first act of one ride is complete and that is "Into The Metaverse" a ride that is quite similar to Spaceship Earth at Disney World Epcot, the story is based around the history of how we tell stories through the ages.
The look and sound of the characters in the ride is fantastic. The creator has done a good job capturing the way animatronics look and sound in a dark ride.
Although please record the narration with a proper voice eventually :) hearing that AI voice we hear in YouTube videos all the time does break the immersion a little bit.

I think it's a very interesting idea and I'm excited to see it progress. Happy to support it and I would recommend you do too, if you like theme parks and think the idea of a virtual theme park that isn't just VR rollercoasters is cool, give it a try.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review and some thoughts on how things can be improved. I really appreciate that. You will be happy to know that the Haunted Castle Dark Ride coming out later this year, has a real voice actor and is it really really good. All the music was performed and written by a talented person too and there is even a full band in the ride. I cannot wait to share. In terms of Into the Metaverse, I have been waiting to finish it to update the voice, but based on your feedback, I will see if I can update Act 1 when I update the park later this year as I agree…if it something that can detract.

Keep your eyes open for the free update as The Haunted Castle is a 25 minute, magical experience.

Just what I was looking for

I love theme parks, when I go to a theme park, dark rides are my favorite thing to ride there. This app has both of them. It’s a theme park of dark rides. More than just a game really, this app is shaping up to be a full on theme park made up of four vastly different dark rides.

Ignore the bad reviews, what you are actually buying is a lifetime ticket to a virtual theme park. I can’t wait to see this one evolve to its full potential.

Thank you so much for the review! You will be happy to learn that the Theme Park I hope will be more than the 1 ride today as The Haunted Castle dark ride is well underway and will be in the park later this year as a free update to all who own the app, and eventually it will be all 4 ride areas you see in the park today and more if things go the way I hope over time. I really need to put up the overall vision map of the park somewhere and complete the 3D birds eye view model of the park that clearly shows its two sides, the edutainment and fantasy sides.

In terms of the bad reviews, only 1 is actually someone not liking it, the others loved it, but are angry there is not more which is a pill hard to swallow as I too wish there were more, but the economics of apps on the Meta Quest means I am soloing it for now. Reviews like yours help and thus thank you and I very much look forward to bringing you more, and since you joined the ALPHA channel, I am very much looking forward to your input on the Imagineering process.

Incredible Experience

I love being able to support independent creators making unique and exciting experiences like this. VR is the perfect platform for this kind of storytelling—it does it better than any other medium. Having grown up riding Disney dark rides, this feels right at home, and now I can experience it anytime I want. I’m excited for future updates and really appreciate that the creators are taking their time to deliver something high-quality.
