The Choice is an interactive virtual reality series where women tell their stories about choosing to have an abortion. The Choice uses minimalist animation and life-like volumetric video to explore the complex realities of reproductive rights, fostering empathy and challenging stigma as these women share the complex emotions, inner dialogues, and events that led to their decision.

The Choice premiered with its first chapter at IDFA 2021 and has since received critical acclaim worldwide. Winning the Audience Award at SXSW 2022 and Best XR Experience for Impact at Games for Change 2022 Nominated for a Canadian Screen Award, among numerous other accolades. The series invites viewers to engage deeply with personal stories, offering a profound understanding of the complexities surrounding reproductive rights and the importance of personal agency.

In the first chapter we meet Kristen, a young woman from Austin, who dreams of raising a family but instead faces a dehumanizing system working against her survival. In chapter 2, married couple Leigh and Dan reflect on being over 40 with an unplanned pregnancy. In chapter 3 we hear from Makayla, a young woman from San Antonio who underwent two abortions and grappled with social challenges.
