I need an anchor point

I like the app but whatever i do the overlay keeps shifting everytime i take my eyes of the wall.

I tried lighting cleaning the sensors resetting the boundary factory reset etc.etc.

I wish there was just a way to place an achor point that stays in place based on the roomscale setup position.

Hello, thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! We're very sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you've had with the stencil shifting.

You are absolutely right, the stencil should feel perfectly anchored. In fact, the app does create a precise anchor for every stencil you place that's tied to the actual physical location you placed it. This is what allows you to save a stencil's position and reload it in the same position later, even after restarting the app.

The "drift" you're seeing isn't the anchor moving, but an unavoidable side effect of the Quest's passthrough camera. To create a 3D view, the camera feed is constantly re-projected to match your changing viewpoint. This process adds depth but can also cause virtual objects like the stencil to appear to shift slightly.

We have a few solutions that can help dramatically:

For Quest 3 / 3S Users:
We built the ‘Precision Trace Camera’ feature specifically to solve this. It uses a different camera feed that removes all distortion, allowing you to trace your stencil without it shifting as you move.

Minimize Movement: The shift is most noticeable with large movements, so tracing from a relatively stable position helps a lot.

Break Up Large Images: For very large stencils, breaking the design into smaller, separate stencils can also help reduce the perceived shift in each section. We're looking into ways to automate this in the future.

It's very nice.

It's worth the money spent. I really love this App.
I have an additional opinion... It would be much better if we could bend the shape into a sphere or a square
To be used on curved or square walls.

Now Works on Quest Pro

I initially had problems getting this app to work on Quest Pro, but the support team was quick to release a fix within 1-2 days, now it works great!

Does not work on Quest Pro

Unfortunately, this app does not appear to work with the Quest Pro controllers. During startup of the app as a new user, the controllers fail to update position/rotation (they are stuck to ground level at 0,0,0). This behavior prevents me from being able to get past the startup screen. Not sure if there is a compatibility issue with the Quest Pro or the latest Meta Horizon OS, but hopefully a fix is underway.

App breaking glitch

Just purchased and can’t use the app due to a weird clipping visual glitch (looks like the image is chopped in small squares and in the wrongs spots) in the right lens of my headset. Doesn’t happen in any other app other than this one. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, restarts etc. Really wish there was an easier way to reach out to someone for help. Have emailed support with no luck.

If I close my right eye the app works well but obviously extremely annoying.

Hope there’s a fix for the issue cause I would love to be able to use the app

We discovered that a recent update unfortunately introduced a bug that was affecting some Quest 3 users. We have since pushed a new update that contains a fix for this bug.
