Brilliant Concept, But Poorly Supported

The idea behind this app is absolutely brilliant—a 3D mind-mapping experience in VR that has the potential to redefine how we organize and explore complex thoughts. The foundation is there, and with the right development support, it could easily justify a $15/month subscription.

Unfortunately, the app currently feels half-baked. The interface is only partially functional, and critical features seem broken or unfinished. Even more concerning, the developer appears unresponsive, with no meaningful updates or engagement to address the growing list of issues. This is especially problematic for a subscription-based product, where responsiveness and consistent improvement are expected.

I truly wish I could use and recommend this app, but in its current form, it’s not worth even the lower-tier subscription or one-time license. It needs serious development attention and, frankly, encryption and privacy features before it can gain meaningful adoption.

This could be a phenomenal tool—but only if the developer decides to invest in its future.

Great Experience !

I've really enjoyed using SpaceFrame on my Meta Quest. The app provides a well-designed workspace, making it a great tool for organizing and interacting with files in VR. The UI feels polished, and the overall experience is immersive.

That said, there are a few features that would make the app even better:

-Mouse support: This would make interactions smoother and more precise.

-A browser that remembers login info: Having to log in repeatedly can be tedious.

-Ability to import entire folders into a group while keeping file order: Right now, imported files stack on top of each other rather than maintaining their original order.

-PDF support: It would be great to open PDFs directly within the app.

-Ability to abort large imports or undo actions: Sometimes, mistakes happen, and an undo function would be a lifesaver.

-Joystick controls for scrolling pages and moving the workplace: The gesture-based workplace movement doesn’t always activate, so joystick support would add reliability. Could also take advantage of Quest controller Buttons. (Maybe for copy and paste actions.. or a Zoom action while pressing..)

Screenshot within apps would also be great.

Overall, I think SpaceFrame is worth it, and I really appreciate the effort put into it. While there are free alternatives that can achieve similar outcomes, refining these features and what other users have suggested would make SpaceFrame a truly standout experience. Looking forward to future updates!

Mouse Support, Company Website Down

hi there! so just wanted to start off by sharing with you guys that you guys have created an absolutely fantastic app for the meta quest platform that really launches the headset to a higher level of productivity and functionality

the ability to have featured out workspaces that have minority report style functionality is a dream that this app is bringing much closer to reality and that is simply incredible

questions:

-so right now there is no mouse support and integration in the app (but there is keyboard support)

this would really make the app functionality much more complete and would make productivity with it even better

since you sometimes want to switch between hand tracking to mouse tracking (i.e. depending on the nature of the workspace workload)

is there any reason (technical or so forth) to this? this would seem fundamental, no?

-how about the ability to have multiple tabs in one browser?

-so the company website and its various links are simply not working - is this a temporary problem? is there a timeline as to when it'll be back up?

-also when the app updated from softspace to spaceframe, it deleted all my previous content (when the upgrade specifically stated it wouldn't affect previous content)

finally: are there more app functionality updates coming in the pipeline?

thank you guys so much for what you do and wishing you guys only more success to keep increasing the app functionality and its features to even higher heights

Wish it supported Chinese input

Guess it's due to Meta Quest doesn't support Chinese input ,not the app, 😕 so sad I can't use it for writing.

I genuinely appreciate you and team!

While still early staged I can imagine, it’s honestly beautiful simplistic in form and immensely useful. While it lacks some integration (which takes a lot of time to build in and create the pipelines necessary for seamless integration) I absolutely love what you are doing. Hell I even want to join your team in its inception creation and implementation cause I see some intense potential for this in both commercial use as well as civil/personal settings. I feel the spatial “thinking room and ability to modify warp and shift it all at will” is beyond useful. And as a deep thinker with adhd I can not express enough how entraining it is to “play” with my ideas in a spatial area. Between pulling up webpages and videos relevant to my current thought lines down to typing out my on the moment ideas to splat onto the screen and decide where it fits in my mental map of things is awesome! So where others may say nay, I say even if not accepting new members to help further this , then from the bottom of my heart thank you, all of you involved

Excited but frustrated

I bought this app when it was Softspace and the next day, it turned into Spaceframe. Whilst most things stayed awesome, I am hugely frustrated that the AI enabled ideation element was stripped out. This was where you entered a different view - topics would float near each other depending on how relevant / connected they were and AI would prompt additional related topics for you to explore as well as give a short description when clicked. PLEASE bring this back (and improve) - it was one of the main reasons I bought the lifetime version.
