Space Atlas VR is your interactive guide to Space and Space Exploration. Journey through the Solar System, visit the surfaces of the Moon and Mars, interact with accurate maps of nearby stars and known exoplanets, and explore 3D models and mission timelines of various space exploration systems. Space Atlas VR provides a wealth of fascinating information about space through different immersive environments and a user interface that supports both hand tracking and controllers.
Space Atlas VR is organized into three main chapters: [1] The Earth: observe our planet from space, learn about the artificial satellites orbiting it, and discover details about our Moon. [2] The Solar System: an accurate 3D model of our solar system, where the positions and movements of celestial bodies are based on NASA simulation data. Visit these celestial bodies and delve into technical details of various exploration missions. [3] The Universe: a series of immersive environments to understand our place in the cosmos, including a precise 3D map of all stars within 30 light-years, a detailed representation of our galaxy—the Milky Way, a comprehensive 3D map of known exoplanets, and a model of the Local Group, the region of space that includes our galaxy and its neighbors.

This is a great app! I’m really looking forward to the full version. What would be great is an opportunity to fly the LEM onto the moon’s surface. I also love how you can walk around within the models to explore. Very impressive and informative. So far, the models and information seem accurate. Kudos to the developers. Well done!
SPACE ATLAS VR is a captivating virtual reality application that offers a rich, immersive exploration of the cosmos. This app allows users to compare climate changes across planets, explore landscapes on the Moon and Mars, and interact with space telescopes. With features like the ability to manipulate and rotate planets for detailed examination, a virtual tour inside the lunar module, and an interactive star map, SPACE ATLAS VR provides a comprehensive educational experience. Its extensive, interactive tutorials make learning engaging and accessible, and the app’s flexibility allows it to be used with or without controllers. Currently free through the App Lab program and available on iPhones and iPads via the Meta Horizon app, SPACE ATLAS VR is a must-try for astronomy enthusiasts, offering high-quality content that combines entertainment with education.
I love this app it's fairly easy to use and I get lost in it
I can't wait to be able to land on more planets and moons
My only gripe is the graphics are not so good but hopefully will be better in future updates
Also I would love to be able to move around on the planets and moons
Great work devs keep on updating
This app would be worth paying for premium updates
This app gets better update after update.
Very well built and informative, a must have for everyone, even more for astronomy lovers ❤️
The possibility to use the controllers was a nice touch too.
An app that is similar to TITAN OF SPACE+ without ever equaling it but with some interesting specific advantages.
- Hand tracking control for greater immersion.
- “Visit” of the soil of the planets.
- 3D models "exploded" in under-cases.
It is a young application which will grow and which has the potential to become a reference with still a lot of work.
The graphics are good but deserve more care.
The tutorial is already clear and quite complete.
NOTE TO DEVS
Consider adding a sit/stand mode or an option to adjust the height.
Very educational. Once I got familiar with navigating through the app I started to like it. Nice views. Handtracking works fine for me. Feedback: I find the panes with background information difficult to read. Small letters in a not so good resolution. I am on the Q2. Question: how do I exit the application? I do not see an exit option which means i need the controllers to exit.Looking forward to further development!
