A relaxing experience

I really enjoyed the trip to space and especially the meditation stones. Could be nice with different meditation music and other “exercises” depending on the colour of the stone. I tried it an hour before bedtime and I feel a sleep smoothly.
The feling when you are outside the ship is amazing - gazing at the stars.
I wish though you could do some more things apart from just floating around.
Looking forward to see what comes next - some doors were closed because of “developing”
But all in all a nice and relaxing experience.

A True spectacle

The graphics are amazing, making losing yourself in these environments astoundingly easy. The expanses are breathtaking, and on each new space walk you can't help but have a smile on your face as you drift and explore these great scenes whilst getting caught up in the ambience and soothing music.
This application does exactly what's promised and all with very well done AAA design.

Especially for the price, this is definitely an application you will love having if you want a relaxing escape and/ or love space.

Nice visuals but overall mediocre.

The visuals are mice but the robo rides could be more interactive. Relaxing views but when picking up the crystals for a meditative session, it's difficult to relax when you constantly have to grip the controller for the crystals to be active.

Greetings from above! The crystal grab fix is coming in the next release. Stay tuned for exciting updates! :)

A Mixed Bag, Technically

First of all, the application can help you relax.

I recommend "Red Giant Regella," which I find to be the most impressive environment.

You can't do that much in the application right now, but for relaxing, it's kind of okay.

What is not good, however, is how the developer utilizes the available performance of the XR2 Gen 2 in the Quest 3—which is to say, hardly at all.
The game runs at the standard resolution (1680x1760 per eye) at 72Hz, and it uses GPU level 3 most of the time. GPU level 3 is very low (there are 7 levels, and a developer can likely access up to level 6, directly or indirectly), and the render target is also low. I just don't understand why this is being done.

The visuals are arguably the core aspect of the application. Developers like those of Red Matter 2 have understood this; they push the XR2 Gen 2 more to its limit and even use dynamic resolution. Here, the available performance is simply being left on the table.

Using something like the Quest Games Optimizer, you can see how the game COULD run if the developer actually tapped into some of the XR2 Gen 2's power. And it looks so much better! You can reach resolutions of 3000² per eye WITHOUT the framerate dropping...

But why do I, as a user, have to do all this myself? I don't get it. And he's not the only developer doing this; it's a plague that seems to affect many standalone developers across the board.

The sharpness problem can be fixed by the user in a pinch, though this should really be the developer's job. The next issues are low-resolution shadows, where the 'stair-stepping' effect is quite severe, and especially specular aliasing. The application shimmers and glitters in tons of places where it shouldn't. Has standard methods been used to reduce it, I have my doubts...
