I met adds of this app in instagram so many times, that i finally gave up, got interested in conception and installed it.
Couldn't register an account. I have the same error "Cannot register an account. Call to support"
Oculus connect doesn't work too.
Soapbox impresses with the quality and realism of its holographic concerts. The performances, captured in volumetric video, offer a rare sense of presence.
A unique musical immersion with artists filmed in 360° volumetric video, captured via a 48-camera system, giving you the impression that they are physically appearing in your living room as stunningly realistic holograms.
The catalog is packed with diverse styles: from superstars like T-Pain and Buddy Guy to exclusive unreleased duets (like Tank and Aaliyah), and powerful performances by Norma Jean.
The interface is fluid, setup is simple, and the feeling of intimacy with the artist is sensational.
A truly immersive alternative to traditional concerts, it demonstrates how VR can revolutionize live music.
Several content items are free, while others cost around €3 per track.
Downloads are space-intensive (around 10 GB per song).
One of my best XR experiences!
This is perfect, but for a five-star rating, I think you should include:
1. The ability to use the app offline once the content has been downloaded, meaning you can open the app without an internet connection and enjoy the downloaded content.
Now, however, you still need to be connected to the internet to access the app, even if you've downloaded content.
3D sound, the most important thing of all! It should be so that when you get close to the singer, you hear the sound coming from their voice, and when you move away or turn left or right, you hear it far away to the right or left, respectively. In short, what's called 3D sound, which would add a lot of immersion!
Dynamic occlusion of the user's hands and arms, and of the environment in general, so you get a feeling of immersion and total fusion with the real environment. Dynamic occlusion uses less resources than you might think, so try it!

Update: I just made the update you released, thanks!
Honestly, for a moment I was under the illusion that it had reached dynamic occlusion and/or an offline mode to start the app offline to play content already downloaded.
As soon as I see it I can't wait to stay 5 stars! I'm not currently using the app much: I'm a big fan of dynamic occlusion!😃
Thank you for your commitment to constantly improve the app, I saw that you added new paid singers (but they don't really seem like my genre to be honest), maybe in the future there was a way to see a preview in a small window before being able to make the purchase? it would be easier to decide whether to make the purchase or not?

Please... Please.... Please!... Add a Dynamic Occlusion!!!🙏🙏🙏 (On/off) ... Please!
pretty good but once you download a song, the app should be able to be used offline, which is not the case at the moment.
furthermore, to make this mixed reality experience truly complete you need dynamic occlusion, the way for example that your arms will be displayed in front or behind the 3D model depending on the distance you are at as well as the rest of the scene
you also have to keep the viewer on your head throughout the long process of downloading a video, otherwise the video won't load! this is rather useless and also annoying
This is the first step into the VR/MR future! WOW!
When this becomes advanced and the holograms become better quality, it would be an epic future experience.
However for now trying to be more creative with what currently available helps, also more famous artists would be epic experience.
A great concept but needs the content to hopefully flow quick to keep people wanting to come back.
At the moment its a bit frustrating having to keep coming back to see either no new ones added or artists you have no idea who they are and don't want to chance paying for something you then won't like.
Defo needs a free sample for every artist, even if just 15 seconds of one of there tracks to get a feel if irs something that you then want to pay for.
At the mo its defo in my selection to demo what Mixed Reality can really be used for.
Fantastic app, really gives the impression that the artist is right in the room with you, well done to the developers. I've found that using it with Quest Game Optimizer really helps to increase the resolution.
Some suggestions:
1) Some of the acts have some artifacts that could do with a bit of a tidy up, this is particularly noticeable around the feet area. "Aaron Gibson - Real Bad Timing" also has some artifacts that are several feet in front of him on the floor.
2) I've noticed that some of the artists can really appear to look into your eyes if I position them correctly but it takes a bit of experimenting to get them into the right position. It would be good if when you are recording, that the artists have a particular primary camera that they can concentrate on looking into the most (not all the time but for the most part). Then you could add an option/button to have the artist reorient to face you (as if the viewer were in primary camera position), this could really give the impression that they are singing directly to you. You could possibly also have them automatically follow your headset position in realtime, however I think that might look a little odd as they would be constantly spinning around on the spot as you move, better to just have them reorient on a button press.
3) Positional audio, having the audio emanating directly from the artist's position would be great, so that when we turn our head or move, the positional audio would reflect the change in our position.
4) Alpha transparent shadows under the artist. Since you have a 3D model of the artist, perhaps it might be possible for you to create a real time diffuse transparent shadow effect on our floor in mixed reality.
5) Real time lighting effects, it would be nice if we could create our own lighting on the artist, position a directional spotlight for instance or even simply make adjustments to the brightness of the artist so that it more closely managed our mixed reality environment.
