Shapelab Lite '25 is the latest annual release in the Shapelab Lite series which brings the essential features of the acclaimed Shapelab PCVR app to standalone VR at a more accessible price, carefully adapted for devices with lower processing power. All versions receiving updates until the end of their release year. As part of this cycle, Shapelab 2025 will continue to be improved with updates throughout 2025 before the next version arrives in 2026.
Designed for immersive 3D sculpting, Shapelab offers an intuitive interface to freely shape ideas in 3D space with enhanced control. From basic forms to complex designs, Shapelab enables you to create detailed props, characters, and digital concepts for applications, games, and virtual worlds. VR sculpting creates a unique level of engagement, offering faster workflows and greater precision.
Built on a polygon mesh foundation, Shapelab Lite also includes dynamic topology, enabling on-the-fly adjustments of detail by tessellating or decimating polygons, adding flexibility where detail is needed. On standalone devices, users may notice performance limitations, with framerate drops around 1.5 million polygons. To maintain performance, reduce polygon counts with low-resolution brushes or decimate the model using the Mesh Density tab.

It is so wonderful in so many ways, with the preferred hand grip have natural movement to shift size of brush, or to use both hands to really pull yourself in for close up work. I just wish there was support for negative boolean operations.
It's amazing guys the endless possibilities
It's completely more comfortable been sitting at a table on my PC so uncomfortable when I can just make a model here import it onto the PC so much easier to use
Fantastic 3D sculpting app with so many features. I have the desktop version too, but this one is more than adequate as a standalone.
The only letdown is that it doesn't work with my MX ink pen. I can't think of an app which needs pen support more
Please please add support for the logitech mx ink pen it would really elevate the experience.
Yeah, this is going to change my life. 3d modeling has always been so frustrating behind a 2d screen. This makes it amazing. It took a few hours to get the hang of each one of the tools, but once you play around enough everything starts to click and you feel unstoppable.
I have run into a few random glitches where the tools don't work properly, and I've found that going back to the Quest home screen and back to the app usually sorts it out.
It's much like Blender rather than ZBrush imo. It's okay, but not enough.
