Saw somebody write in the reviews that you could tell the little ghost pal to play whatever music, so I was like "Yo, Ghost, play some Nirvana!" and a few seconds later, Nirvana started blaring out. Then I was like "Yo, Ghost - play me a guided meditation!" and a few seconds later, a guided meditation starts playing. :D Pretty cool!
The environments are nice too, I especially like the winter lodge. Very cozy! I almost deducted one star, because as of now there are only 3 environments available, but supposedly there are more on the way, so. I like it. The AI component definitely makes it unique among the other meditation type apps I own. Worth checking out for sure. =)
Other reviews note features I do not see or understand how to use. The A.I. interface doesn't allow me to do anything other than ask general questions unrelated to the app. I can't ask for a meditation or to play music (a reviewer stated they could). The A.I. feature sounds robotic and serves no known function at all as far as I can tell. There are no meditations available at all within the app. You can pull up a menu to view a number of Yoga videos, but I was unable to find ANY traditional meditation content at all - I was so confused I went back to the store listening to see if it was purely a Yoga-centric app. What is on offer are 3 environments each with 2 or 3 spots you can "move" to. You may toggle day/night as well as rain & wind. The A.I. assistant is worthless. The environment texture is, regrettably, very unimpressive. I do not mean to be harsh but this is absolutely not a product the developer should be charging money for given its total lack of meditation content. If it's meant to be a Yoga app then state that clearly in the store. If I'm not using the controls properly I hope the dev responds and explains how it works because there is no on-boarding within the app other than a single screen explaining how to invoke the menu, how to record (i.e. take a picture) and how to interact with the A.I.
Poor quality visually. Not much going on in here. Annoying/repetitive assistant. Needs a ton more work to be a paid app.
The environments are just okay. Very stuttery on Quest 2. Very buggy. I could not get the AI to respond. It eventually crashed.
I understand this is to just sit and relax but I’d like to be able to move and explore my surroundings, perhaps to interact a bit more
You would think that the app would have a guided meditation, it doesn’t, not a good meditation app for me
