Custom!!!
I am so upset! After I spent 30$ and found out how limited it in! Please don’t make the same mistake I did. Spend your money on something better.
Others have said it. It’s charming -for the first minute …then you discover what you can’t do.
The camera seems real to life somehow which is so cool. And specific hand gestures
/character movement is great.
Issues:
- not intuitive to switch between Menus even though setup is goood it works without accuracy which is frustrating
- nothing in the store (and worse) no way to go import
- more like a glorified viewer for the two 3d dolls
How do I get a refund . I've only got 14 days and I can't figure it out
Not quite enough.
2 female avatars… with no customization options.
Can’t import my own characters either.
Can’t import props.
Does not record voice, rendering their statement of it being an all-in-one studio completely wrong.
No way to to actually edit a shot’s length.
Saving the final product only to Facebook or messenger?… seriously that’s it?
This app has a lot of potential, and they certainly created something that could become great. But right now, this app is not worth $30. They are close to having a killer app on their hands but it’s not quite there yet. Almost.
I hope the developers add more content to it soon.
Imagine my surprise when my first rendering didn't include my voice over. Nor does it. Nor is it really intended to. That's not the way animation is typically made. The script, the animation, then the voice over matches the script to the avatar spoken word. I imagine you could capture the audio as a separate stream using a separate device, and marry it up in your favorite pro content creator A/V suite of software... and that's where this app misses it's mark. 15 second vids, can be expanded. 2 initial characters, can be expanded. Ability to import your own models, avatars, and music, can be expanded. SO much great potential, and lots of youtube videos showing some of the developers works beyond what has been "developed and released" with this first version. Beta testing live perhaps. Good news, it works! Bad news, it doesn't record the 15 seconds of you speaking and sync it with the animation capture so you can one-stop create and post to youtube, facebook, tiktok, etc. Jeez, even to TRY putting something together, it seems the occulus only let's me share the rendered video via a facebook post or msg? Egads. Was giving it two stars, but now just one. Nah, that's harsh for such a great product with so much P O T E N T I A L, but this $30 buy feels more like a demo before you get the real version with a dozen anime style avatars, and the ability to record audio with your 15 second scenes when you hit that record button. I'll keep it two stars, just for the amazing potential. I'm going to get my refund now though. Maybe give it a few months or a year, and they'll get their product right for their target market: tweens and teens who want to make 15s shorts for tiktok et al... but don't want to have to learn to become an audio engineer and video editor in the process. Just one thing missing... one little thing... that makes or breaks this app, and not just for this dad, who's in the industry... but for kids and parents. Fun. Creative. But missing the mark completely here
