Game

It’s a game, I didn’t know it
I didn’t like it, I should’ve waited for more reviews
I thought it was like wander, where you can really see the statue of Liberty
It’s a game, I don’t want to play no game

Hi! Sorry to hear it wasn’t what you expected. Places VR: The Statue of Liberty is more of an interactive VR experience than a traditional game — you can freely walk around Liberty Island, go inside the statue, discover hidden collectibles, and listen to an immersive audio tour. Unlike watching panoramas, our app gives you the feeling of really being there — walking around freely and experiencing the true scale of the monument from the ground and from within. If you’re into virtual exploration with a bit of interactivity, it might still be worth giving it another try!

It is cool, but…

Let me start off with BUY IT. The game is worth the price. I love it.

So why only 3 stars then?

There is a lot missing.

I have been to the island, and was surprised to find this game in my feed on FB.

After the tutorial I couldn’t wait to explore the island, again!

I instantly noticed that there are two huge fields where there should be buildings. A museum, the cafe, and the gift shops.

I get it, they aren’t needed, but a fake store, and the museum would have filled in the empty space nicely.

There is a in the base of the statue, but I was never in there in reality, so idk if this is how it is. But I assume it is.

Going into the statue, and all the look outs are neat. The spiral staircase made me want to throw up lol but it was fine. I never realized how the crown was. It was so cool to see it.

Oh, another reason for the 3 stars, I couldn’t get on the arm…

But please try this. It is a great game! You WILL love it!!!

Thank you so much for your review! We're really glad to hear you enjoyed the game 🙌

The museum is located inside the pedestal — just like it used to be in real life not long ago, and we're considering adding more buildings to the island to make the environment feel even more complete. As for getting up to the torch — we love that idea too, and we're already working on it.

By the way, if you haven't seen it yet — we highly recommend checking out the air show, which unlocks after collecting all the statuettes. Players love it! 🎆

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts with us!

P.S. If the spiral staircase makes you dizzy, try using teleport — it might make the climb easier!

More like this, please

I hate traveling but I want to see the world. This kind of app is exactly what I've looked for. Tour the statue at your own pace with an audio guide. Standing at the base and looking up gives you the appropriate sense of awe (even made me tear up a little for reasons).

I took one star off because it might not have the best replayability. Graphics are also not AAA and I started feeling a little swimmy by the end. Still a great experience and a great way to show off VR to someone else who would like to visit the statue.

I would love more locations, like Michelangelo's David (or even a whole museum), the Egyptian pyramids, Machu Pichu, I mean, so many possibilities. I really hope other places are in the works from this dev!

Thank you sincerely for taking a moment to share your impressions. At this early stage of the game, there aren’t many reviews yet, so every piece of feedback is twice as valuable—it helps us grow and quietly guides those still deciding whether to embark on this VR journey. Thank you!

We’re still polishing Places VR: The Statue of Liberty, but we’re also eager to create VR tours of other iconic Places, including the ones you mentioned!
