PasteToPlay is a VR video player built around one idea: paste a URL, press play, and the app figures out the rest.

Auto format detection

Playback starts immediately while the app reads the actual video frames and detects the projection — no filename conventions needed:

• View: flat / 180° / 360°
• Stereo: mono / side-by-side / top-bottom
• Lens: rectilinear / equirect / fisheye

If a detection is ever wrong, one tap on the dock corrects it instantly and locks your choice for the session.

Two ways to play

• Direct links — paste any video URL from the Quest clipboard. The app connects straight to the source: no companion app, no server, no account.
• DLNA — browse and play from media servers on your local network, with cover-art grid browsing.

Playback

Native ExoPlayer decoding: MP4, HLS, DASH and SmoothStreaming adaptive streams, with an automatic fallback that keeps the session alive.

Privacy

No accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting. The only stored data is your on-device link history — clear it in-app anytime.

Scope

A personal project, actively developed. PasteToPlay plays media you provide — your cloud-drive direct links and your own DLNA servers. It includes no content catalog.
