Perfect animation. Music and movement. A must.
There are no words to describe such a beautiful experience. With this story, you are creating a school and teaching the incredible potential of virtual reality. The tenderness and definition of the characters moving through this wonderful and well-crafted landscapes within the poetry of the script, makes Paper Birds one of those works destined to prevail over time as an example of talent applied to new technologies. My dears, you have truly created a gem and there are not enough stars in the universe to value this masterpiece. The only criticism I can make is that unfortunately this story has an ending. I beg you to keep working and turn Paper Birds into a serie without an end. To the entire team that has made this experience possible: Thank you for letting us live your magic and please, never stop creating dreams.
Wow was I blown away by Paper Birds! Immersive experiences like these are platform defining and, I believe, the future of entertainment! Aside from that, the story is super charming and whimsical! At certain point I got chills! We need more content like this…
Looks and sounds great. For me personally the story was too abstract. If the fantastical elements were a metaphor, I missed it.
Really breath taking visuals in parts, where you get the feeling why vr is so cool. I really like Tim Burton animations and little nightmares video games. I got their vibes from this. Worth a watch for the price.
I would say it's best watching on a swivel chair as you do have to keep recentering a lot. I started using it with the controller, taking away just using hand tracking as that was a pain
It puts you a little too close to the animation so I also found myself sitting forward recentering and moving back. Otherwise I would have given 5 ⭐.
This is exactly the experience I was hoping for from an interactive film. You are immediately engaged and immersed in what is going on. If I had to search for criticism it is that the flow of the story wasn't necessarily my favorite and that the motion can seem slightly choppy at points. Absolutely none of that takes away from anything in the end. This is one of those gems that I wish I could forget I ever touched so I could repeat it fresh over and over again. I am a fan of everything about it. I want more. Oh and I just got done watching Jo Jo Rabbit for the first time. Yorki is one of my favorite characters ever. Archie Yates crushed the voice acting in this and you can tell it is him from the second you hear his voice. Applause to all involved on this one, well done.
