Can no longer start practice mode, or learn new objects when entering a room the display cabinets remains blank. It was working fine up until now

Loved the Virtual Airship – Please Bring

Hi, I’ve been using Noun Town for almost three years on my Quest 2. Mixed reality isn’t in colour on Quest 2, so it looks really messy. I really miss when the airship was fully virtual. It was way more immersive and easier to use. Can you please bring that feature back? I really want to know if it’s possible.

Great looking game and makes me excited to learn but the game doesn’t work. None of the locations work and character interactions are buggy. Wish they’d fix it

Hello, how do you mean the locations don't work? Also, what is the issue with the character interactions? Please can you explain so we can understand what's going wrong? Thank you

Not working??

The first day I got it the app worked perfectly fine besides a few microphone issues. The second day I tried logging on but when I got on all of the language options were grey and I couldn’t even click anything now it is just stuck on the starting screen saying noun town which is very frustrated especially because I paid money for this game when I could’ve gotten something else…

Hello, sorry to hear this - sounds like an issue with install / update. This can be resolved by deleting the Noun Town save file -> on your Quest headset, go to SETTINGS > GENERAL > STORAGE, then click the "Delete data" icon next to Noun Town (not uninstall). Please can you update us if that works, if not we can help more. Thank you.

Potential but has issues

I would love to be able to give this game a 5 stars. The concept is great and when its all working properly ai enjoy my time learning new words. Plus, I love that its a one time fee instead of subscription. However , I have had multiple glitchy game play experiences where I can only play the punch game 2x or my mic was working fine and then all of a sudden its constantly giving me a "mic error, heard nothing, is your mic on?" message. The controls are also clunky and glitchy. Many times I can not point at objects to hear and see the words or just struggle picking up an item. As some have mentioned the instructions are also lacking. I see adjectives and verbs in the menu but don't really know how to use them/access an action with them. I would also like to understand the testing better. Overall, it is good and worth $20, if it had a few improvements easily 5 stars.

New update = amazing game

I tried this out shortly after it first came out and I was rather disappointed, everything seemed slow and glitched and didn't really have a desire to continue. However, after the January update, the game is now actually amazing. It feels like a game, and after some time, I can just start learning Japanese in a flow state while being immersed in the Japanese language. The game only has around 1000 words so it's a great way to start some fundimental learning while playing a game. It also has potential for major expansion in the future as you can see places for new shops to come up or other games. I am really impressed by the new experience, and I hope the game gets the attention it deserves and continues to grow. Well done.
