A walk-through, interactive, highly immersive and barrier-free virtual reality world about German natural landscapes produced by the German National Tourist Board.
In the application, the "visitor" himself can choose between different locations, media, and degrees of interaction. Several senses are addressed.
Highlights of the experience:
- a 360-degree flight in a "drone" over German natural landscapes
- Huge interactive picture gallery with top motifs of the German nature
- Large cinema with impressive "Embrace.German.Nature” film
- Climbing on rock and rope through mountains and caves.
- "Sustainability Train", which gives tips for environmental and climate-friendly travel
- 3D sound journey along the four seasons with sounds of nature in 3D
- 360-degree spherical film panoramas that your digital hands can pull over your head
- Evening atmosphere at the campsite. Grill your marshmallow in the campfire, touch things and get tips on sustainable travel. You can even lie down in the tent and watch the stars.

Now that Germany has decided to deindustrialize for some reason, apps like this become more important to their economy.
I like this app. I just wish the videos were 3D instead of flat.
Breathtaking flight with a drone over Germany's natural landscapes, a large cinema screen with a great nature film (3D-Sound), climbing, kayaking and much more. My favourite: a camping scene with a starry sky. You even can crawl into the tent.
Really great idea with massive potential. Shame the interface is so poor and unpolished.
In response to your request to expand on the problems I had.
Twice during my hour or so use I become unable to move. I could look around but not move and had to exit the app and restart.
The app crashed once when trying to move around.
I once found myself out of bounds a few times.
I tried to get to the 360' globe to the far right of the starting position, but every time I tried to reach it or use it I would end up taking the kayak ride.
Something I did not like that was not interface related was when using the flying drone. The reflections on the glass spoiled it as they were not natural looking and intrusive.
The rock climbing is far less than perfect
I do not want to end on a negative note, to be fair the app is free and I really do think if you sort out the interface and do more testing so that it feels polished, you will have something really good. Right now it feels like you have put an awful lot of effort into making it, but very little effort on testing and polishing it.
