How do I troubleshoot a blank screen? Why can’t I play movies from streaming services? I hear only audio?
- Capture cards do not display video if the HDMI signal has HDCP protection enabled.
- Make sure you are using the correct input port if your capture card has multiple HDMI/DisplayPort ports.
How to troubleshoot low video frames rate?
Ensure the instant stats overlay in the streaming screen displays SuperSpeed to confirm USB 3.0 speed, rather than Hi-Speed (USB 2.0 speed).
- Not all USB-C cables are created equal. Some USB-C cables are rated for USB 2.0 speed.
- Some USB-C cables operate at USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 depending on the orientation of the connector; flipping the USB-C cable upside down may resolve the low fps issue.
- Change capture video frame format menu setting to match the fps offered by the capture card.

Of all the simple or long winded complicated tech things I’ve done I’ve very rarely plugged something in, launched a programme or app and got what I expected rather than what I was given. Now watching films in 1920 x 1080 saved to HD from the extended screen hdmi out on my i3 windows 10 £349 Acer, 8 year old laptop
PS before I retired during COVID I project managed expensive home cinema builds in large houses, come across more problems with HDMI than I care to remember. Rs
Frustrating
I had access to this app a few updates back but now my unchanged setup wont work. This is so frustrating and a big dropped ball by meta. Get this working or at least open up options to tell me why It won't work. I've used my meta half as much now because of this one thing I was so excited for.

This is a great idea for anything but the oculus. Wasted money on a HDMI cable for false hope
