Connect your Meta Quest headset to devices with an HDMI or DisplayPort output, including handheld PCs or consoles, laptops, and more.
This app requires third-party hardware—specifically, a UVC and UAC compatible USB capture card and any associated cables. For a high-quality streaming experience, please ensure that the capture card and other USB adapters and cables are rated for USB 3.0 SuperSpeed.
How do I troubleshoot a blank screen? Why can’t I play movies from streaming services? I hear only audio?
How to troubleshoot low video frames rate?
Ensure the instant stats overlay in the streaming screen displays SuperSpeed to confirm USB 3.0 speed, rather than Hi-Speed (USB 2.0 speed).

It’s a pretty nice way too use quest 3. I’m using it with switch 2 and it works with 60 FPS without noticeable latency.
I can forgo a little quality for better compatibility!! I am bewildered at how frustrating such desirable tech can be.
Works great on my headset, crisp smooth and no lag , not like when im streaming.
I did have an issue at first with it not connecting, black screen and freezing while plugged to a laptop, it was very hit or miss, turned out it was a faulty quest 3s headset because not long after that the headset died ,tracking started going then it just went into a boot loop even with force wipe and resets, had to be replaced, now with this new headset not had any problems yet.
It does the job of connecting your hdmi compatible devices to the quest 3 but there's a connection option that's missing and it's 3D. This app doesn't recognise 3D devices so please could we have an update to make it possible.
It does technically work, at 15fps 720p, and less than 1fps at 1080p. But that's not because of the technology. the Quest can obviously stream 120fps at 4K for Oculus Link over USB3, and Skybox can stream 4K 60fps wireless, and Virtual Desktop can do 120fps. The only way this ended up so bad had to be Meta intentionally making it unusable to drive more revenue through their in-store content. Greed ruins everything. :-(
I just recently used this App with a Guermok 4K USB3.0 Video Capture Card with PD 100W USBC charging port, 2K@30FPS or 1080P@60FPS HDMI to USB-C Capture Card for Streaming, direct to my PS5( no PC needed). The HDMI cord I got was long enough to connect the MQ3 to my PS5 and was comfortable.
I found that if I waited to connect the charging cord until I launched the HDMI link app and started my PS5, the black screen issue was not there. I'm very happy with this App and I use it A LOT!
