This is very intense for a beginner, but I really enjoyed myself. I wish it had Italian. I would pay for that because this is exactly what I want

to cancel a class as I couldn't understand the pressure lesson prep.
It's a pity as I was looking forward to it.

Guides' quality and engagement has decreased dramatically

I paid for this for a period of time when I was brushing up skills to take a French language assessment for a job opportunity. For background, I took French immersion in school from grade 4 to grade 12.This was a great option and I found it to be very helpful to help me prime for questions in social and casual settings. I predominantly use the solo options talking to avatars in the program. I only did one or two tutorials that were live with other participants, and I thought they were pretty good. I had some issues with motion sickness with some of the active board tasks. The instructors I had were excellent, but I found I was more advanced than the other people in the class or two that i joined. wish it was more affordable to maintain a subscription all year round. Right now I only pay for it when needed to prepare for french language test as I just don’t use fair enough otherwise but I liked it. (*this was a supplementary training tool i used to prepare, but i also met with a local professional to help narrow down questions i may be asked etc. i passed. )

I catch myself smiling and laughing a lot while using this. The positive reinforcement and the gentle corrections makes learning fun. I think what also helps is making the commitment that I’m going to learn this language, I have to, or I’ll die wondering what if?

Worth the subscription fee and currently a 2-3 times a week user looking to increase to 5-6

Update 10/30/25. Everyday user Learning French level 1 Spanish level two. This thing works if you commit. And read every word you can.

Learning a language is essentially, pattern recognition. Learn one or two words see how they form patterns with the other words and then they’ll start revealing themselves to you, subconsciously Click the word to know for sure

***Please also add a section where I can ask the ai a question, when I’m in a course or not. Sometimes I have a question and I have to google unless I’m in a classs already.

Also*** add a way to switch between languages without need to long on website.
