It has been useful to study for anatomy exams. One thing that I’m not sure how to do is to create custom Quizzes, as often I do not get asked for “the entire musculoskeletal system” but rather for just the major muscles and bones.
Would give it 5 stars if I could create my own quizzes and if I could change the color or contrast of the muscles and bones (medical cadavers often have a darker color that makes things harder to differentiate in real life).
As a student of anatomy I frickin love this. The tutorial was quick and I learned everything I needed. The layers of many organs are extra cool.
I'm an RN. Anytime I've got a patient with a condition I don't really understand, this app helps make every much easier to understand. The only thing I don't like is that I didn't have this when I was in school years ago. This would have been a huge help.
I used this app to prepare for my Medical School admission exams, and now I rely on it even more as anatomy class gets tougher. I definitely recommend it to all aspiring medical students! 😎
Hopefully the personal version will be able to get the dicom feature with an update, or I can unlock the feature with a single payment. After all, I'm a person, not an institution, but I want to use dicom.
The software is pretty good. But I have three complaints.
1. I cannot quit the application. Once I press the oculus button to close the software, the whole thing freezes. And I have to force shutdown the quest 2 (sometimes that doesn't even work).
2. Please write the different sutura's (dont know the word in english) , sutura coronalis etc. Best would be to have sutures on one of the pluses under skeleton.
3. Please give us an option to rotate body parts by holding the grip button and using the left stick as an example.
4. PLEASE let me rotate and manipulate the whole head. I seem to only be able to move the head without the mandibula. I want to look at the whole skull from under the skull, without using the ant-mode function.
1. Is the biggest reason for the low rating. However 3 and 4 are mightily annoying as well..
