Not what I had hoped for....

Years (and I mean YEARS) ago I did a Tai Chi class and learned a complete section - I think there were 3 in total. I learned the first one and used to do this 5 -10 minute routine at home and I loved it, then children etc came along and now they are grown up I wanted to learn again and thought this would be a great way of learning in my own time. I am completely distracted by the black and white balls, I can't seem to turn them off completely. What I remember is not being taught either, they are nothing like the tai chi I used to do, there were beautiful wrist movements etc, none of this is portrayed that I can see. I would like to learn what I remembered by following a teacher without the strict hand movements if I don't want them. I come out more stressed than when I went in! I am sad because the surroundings are gorgeous, I just wish I could just follow a teacher and learn a routine that I can do with or without the VR.
UPDATE: 3 YEARS LATER...Tried again - I haven't played this since my first review (3 years ago), I thought I would see if there were any updates...a couple but far too few options, my opinion hasn't changed, I want to be able to look at the teacher and follow him without the distraction of the balls - PLEASE allow people to follow the teacher, I can see his hand movements and foot movements, why have him if you have to concentrate so hard on the bloomin' balls? PLEASE improve so people can just watch the teacher. It would be great if that could be done, I suspect it would be 5 stars from me if it could be as if I were in a real class. Thanks

Phenomenal Experience

May 28, 2025: 30 fantastical minutes of this Guided Tai Chi and I still want more. I find the 5-minute session so perfect as it allows me to get enough time to experience one at a time and vary between as many different sessions as I want. This possibility makes the experience even more enjoyable, uplifting, and engaging. I love it so much that, if not for the headset limitations in battery autonomy, I would keep practicing until my legs could no longer hold me upright🥰❤️. Kudos to the people behind this amazing application. Keep up the great work!

Can't set up without controllers?

Left my controllers (somewhere) at my mom's house when I visited her out of state this past weekend. Bought this app last night, as I assumed a Tai Chi app would make use of hand tracking rather than controllers. Was surprised during the first step of setup (measuring my wingspan) when I had to use the controllers to squeeze the triggers, and the equivalent motions with hand tracking would not suffice.

Good relaxing app.

For $6 on sale you really can't go wrong unless doing tai chi doesn't appeal to you. Great thing to do on a break.

Latest update broken

I have been using this for quite a while and absolutely loved it, until a recent update made it unusable. Hand tracking will not work, even in a well-lit area, and likewise the hand devices don't track correctly. I have tried rebooting my Meta Quest 2 and it made no difference at all.
Until that update, I would have rated this program as five stars.

Great app but…

This app is great, environments are fantastic. Hand tracking needs a bit of an adjustment but works pretty well while inside the flows.
What I would wish is for longer programs, for now the sessions are 3-5minutes with the choice to take ”round the world tour” that can be 15, 30 or 60 minutes but which all consists of 5 minute flows in different worlds. This means there is no continuous flow to follow and you start over every 5 minutes.
