Visit the Gamebox Museum to learn about cool game boxes from the 90's, discover new games from the past or learn things you didn't know about favourites.
Back when games consisted of boxy hallways and flat sprites, a game's box helped kickstart a gamer's imagination with the right context for full immersion.

A truly nostalgic experience for those who want to relieve the feelings of holding those game boxes in their virtual hands. Oldies but goldies, games that will never die. They will forever live in this virtual museum.
Love it! Can’t wait to customize my room in the future and decorate it with my collection of games.
Just had to buy the Honoured Donator Add-On for all the hard work that has gone into this free app. 🥰
Great idea, great implementation. Thank you for this.
This is great, really brings back some memories. Great work, thanks!
Just a suggestion, i notice i can't use the app without doing a Meta space setup. Perhaps the app could just use the Meta passthrough and normal boundary (stationary or roomscale)?
Thanks again!
Very nice app! Pure nostalgia. And for early access, it's completely sufficient. The only thing I miss is a filter function by language, so that you only see languages you can actually read. Additionally, a simpler background room for VR would be nice. Currently, I only have a Quest 2 with decent passthrough, which unfortunately dampens the immersion a bit. So far, 4 out of 5 stars. Keep up the good work! :)
I wouldn't have thought I would feel moved when holding the box of Thief 2 in my hands again, several decades after my brothers and I saved up and went to the game store in high anticipation, but here I am! Game Box Museum is a rush of nostalgia, with high quality textures of hundreds of games. All it needs is a bit of usability polish. Highly recommend taking a look!

Great app for collectors, avid gamers, those want to learn more about gaming history and discover more detailed information about specific classic retro games. Think about visiting something like Super Potato (the Japanese retro gaming store) but in your home!
