Connects to my Rane one but audio plays thru headset even when i select it to be played thru controller… any suggestions would be appreciated .Edit: New update allows audio to be played thru controller!!!
Currently using a Denon SC Live 4
Previously used Hercules Inpulse 200, 300, 500, and a Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX. I will most likely venture into Technics and turntables in the months or years to come.
So if I already have hardware, why would I bother getting this? Because I could and I've always been curious about these kind of apps for the Quest. I haven't connected a MIDI controller to the headset, so this is just from a purely app only perspective.
At first glance, it seems a little minimal which is okay, but beyond the starting menu, there are some design changes I would make with the things already available in the app, like having Cube FX options actually above the cube, rather than in the settings. Some things like that would be better available whilst playing tracks rather than having to dive into the settings every time you want to change something.
I absolutely love the environments - would be great to see more alternatives added aside from those already available - some smaller venue options maybe like a pub, or a random house's back yard lol. The nightclub is mildly amusing in that if you start a track, you see people dancing, you stop a track it's like playing frozen statues. Start/Stop/Start/Stop. If a nightclub was like that it would freak anyone out. If you crossfade real quick like you're scratching, they act like they're all having epileptic fits - which seemed funny to me for about 15 seconds too long.
It's an honestly commendable but quirky effort, and despite only 3 stars I would still recommend this to anyone wanting to give it a go - and it would be great for total beginners who have yet to make the splash with the cash on actual hardware.
great app
They just gotta keep updating the app. Thats all
This needs spotify ! I feel like a i wasted my money on this !! Without spotify I cannot enjoy the music i want to listen to.
The mechanics, movement everything is so on point no glitching and responds to every touch like your really scratchin records, i love this I really would recommend this to everyone , but without a proper music source, it really just is not nearly as good as experience.
I would rare 5+ star it is a very good app !! But...
I love the app, but I want to connect to speakers and split the audio...am I missing something but I can't find any audio settings? I hope the Devs see this and reach out to me.
Thanks.
