Dissection Simulator: Frog Edition
Hands-On TrainingVictoryXR's virtual reality frog dissection software is a hands-on dissection opportunity that users can experience through the power of virtual reality. This true to life experience covers each step that a student would take if they were dissecting a real frog in their classroom. Along the way, a hologram of our teacher - national runner-up Teacher of the Year, Wendy Martin - will pop up to provide instruction and information to users.
All of the instruction follows the Next Generations Science Standards (NGSS), the national science standards for the United States. The dissection experience is recreated to the finest detail so that they are a suitable substitute for the real thing in a classroom. Lifelike physical models mean that the frog appears as it would in a real dissection allowing science teachers to feel good about substituting virtual reality for the real thing.

Why am I really tall
Very disappointed
What a wasted educational opportunity we have here. This app has SO much teaching potential, but sadly falls way, way short of what it could have taught.
The graphics are really good and there is so much potential here, doing this in VR.
But the dissection itself lacks detail and consists of opening the body then removing the free floating vital organs with forceps. No incision or cuts needed or any explanation given as to how you would separate and remove any of the organs at all. A missed teaching opportunity.

A homeschoolers dream
We started homeschooling due to Covid, but have found it so wonderful, we plan to continue.
This app is just incredible for HS. Could I teach a dissection lab to my kids? Possibly…but this lab is next level amazing. My kids love it, they can’t wait to do more - I just facilitate their access to knowledge at this point. The teacher is clear, detailed and superb. Great graphics. My daughter actually gasped in delight!
