The worlds in VRChat are beautiful and realistic, but moving around by means of a joystick is not realistic, it’s like going everywhere on a scooter. Cybershoes fixes this problem! Using my cybershoes, I walk around in VRChat by moving my feet and legs, just like in life! So the experience is much more realistic, and it’s also better for me, because when I’m walking around in VR, I’m really moving my body.
It’s not available for all apps, but if you’re a VRC fan, or any of the other apps that it’s compatible with, you should really own this.
The app itself does its job.
It's mainly a tutorial on how to use the shoes.
The shoes are fine and work great.
It really helps fight VR sickness (for me at least) and I really like having to move physically in order to move in game.
It's a good compromise (in terms of price, weight and space taken) between the "walk in place" (ex: cat loco) and the slidemill (ex: kat walk c). The "walk in place" solution works very badly, and the slidemill is really heavy and pricey.
It's intuitive and easy to use but it need approximately one hour to really get the hang of it.
It works great on steam with all the game I tested.
But, the quest support is awfully bad. It does works great, but only with very few games.
The supported games are clearly marked on their website, so you can see for yourself.
In conclusion, I would only recommend those shoes if you plan to play steam games.
