HAHAHA

on quest 2 i start the game and have no hands gotta try and guess where to press so i do this using the meta button to see where my hand is..

man you gotta fix this.

UPDATED to 1.1 today and i tap the controllers and still have no hands.
But on the upside now i can use the oculus icon and the menu buttons on screen as a guide now though better than previous where i had to guess ...

Incomplete, tons of potential!

I'm sure this experience has much to give. In fact, I was looking forward to it quite a bit. Unfortunately, it could definitely use some new user directions: how to use controls, what to expect, how to interact with the world, etc. I honestly did have a little bit of trouble just trying to get things started with hand controls (my game environment was set up, but once it switched to hand controls, the orientation of the boundaries reset to a skewed position). A quick outline how-to screen/tutorial would probably really help.

In addition, while I absolutely appreciate the very excellent voiceover work (especially since I'm a VO), it would be really nice to be able to toggle access to subtitles easily, both enabling and disabling.. Kudos to both the developers and the voice talent though!

My particular experience: I'll admit, I am absolutely not a veteran Oculus user. I went through the introductory stuff, ended up on a beach, not a single clue of how to interact with anything, where to go, what to do, even the very next step. That probably has everything to do with me, but I would like to see a guided system of some sort put in place for those who, like me, listened to all the stuff, ended up at the beach, no clue whatsoever how to proceed from there.

This experience looks phenomenal! I would really love to see it made more user-friendly for first time users of the game. I'm really looking forward to visiting this again as it develops. It's got plenty of star quality potential. Ps: if for any reason any of the above things are already built in, I wouldn't be surprised, but I'd love to know how to access those things. I suspect some of this just has to do with presentational cleanup, but not sure.

Looking forward to seeing this game develop and shine as bright as it deserves!
