Cakrawayang: Virtual Wayang Experience is a digital platform powered by Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR), designed to bring traditional wayang kulit performances to life in an immersive and interactive way. Through this application, users can hold and manipulate wayang puppets, adjust stage lighting and screen settings, and play various gamelan instruments just like in an authentic performance.

In addition, the platform includes interactive tutorials that teach users how to become a dalang and how to play gamelan, references to classical wayang stories, and a local multiplayer mode that allows multiple users to interact directly within the same virtual space—taking roles as the dalang, gamelan players, or audience members. The design of the pendopo, musical instruments, and overall atmosphere of the performance is crafted to closely resemble the real-world setting, combining elements of education, recreation, and cultural preservation.
