I don’t know about seeing just a black screen that other dude might want to turn around and look at the menu behind em cause that’s all I did.
This is my first VR app review ever and I’m using it on this app. Holy figgin’ lord I felt like I was Tom Cruise in Minority Report looking for a suspect or a clue. Given it needs polishing, but if this is the worst it is going to get I am both excited and scared about the future. Please don’t not stop, you are doing Gods work or Metas or who ever you praise. I’m five minutes in to messing around with this and I’m floored at the possibilities. Good freaking job!!! When all video goes spatial will be the way we see all our entertainment or security footage.
It just shows 3 error messages in quick succession: "Contacting server," "Offline mode," and "Error downloading video list." Perhaps this is because I'm outside the US (as suggested on the developer's website), but a little heads-up about this in the app would be appreciated. Better yet, just remove the restriction altogether.
And to be honest, calling this a "Light Field Video Volumetric Player" seems a bit of a stretch based on the trailer. It’s more like a "Low Quality Video with AI Depth Map Player."
just a blackscreen after start nothing happens
