Okay but limited locations
I like the places they have. Real nice images and feel and I really enjoy the narrator option.
The locations are very limited though. Only a couple dozen.
Wonderful
Really cool app! The imagery is very impressive and truly makes you feel like you’re there. It’s a great alternative to visiting in person if you can’t afford the trip or aren’t able to go. To the developer — keep up the great work!
Absolutely hate the menus and controls.
I am halfway laying/sitting in my bed when using my quest and it is absolutely impossible to use this app while doing this. The bottom of the menus are so far down that there is no way to click them and there is no way to move them either.
I cannot stress how bad this experience was - I had no way to travel away from the starting location. I could bring up the watch and I could click the globe and I could see the pictures at the bottom of my view if I got into an extremely uncomfortable position and really strained my back, but there was no way to click on any of the pictures, so I had absolutely no idea what to do from there. it looked like there was a bar to move things around, but that bar was even further down and there as absolutely no way to get to it from the position that I was in.
I did change the mode to sitting, but it made absolutely no difference.
Right now I see no choice but to ask for a refund.
Brink is just brilliant!
This app just gets better and BETTER!!! It frequently updates and adds other areas. Soooo worth the money.
A museum of real world locations
I really like this app. There's technically a little gamification, but it's mostly locations you can hang out in to experience the location, solo or multiplayer, though it has an optional narrator to give you a little flavor. They've been adding locations multiple times a year, and they've verified that more are on the way. Each location has a night mode, and you can superimpose the constellations on the stars. It has an walkie talkie you can use to ask question related to the environment. Sounds like hand tracking will be added before long.
The app is not working
I purchased this app for my new Meta Quest 3, it has not been working, all I see is a frozen logo and sone famous quotes then it turns black, I restarted my headset and made sure my software is updated but still can’t make it work!!!
