BoxelXR is a simple voxel editor designed specifically for virtual reality (VR) platforms. With its intuitive interface and easy-to-use tools, BoxelXR allows users to create stunning 3D voxel models easily.

Voxel-based modeling is an approach to 3D design, which allows users to work with blocks or "voxels" rather than traditional polygons. This approach is particularly well-suited to VR, as it allows for a more immersive and intuitive design experience.

BoxelXR makes voxel modelling accessible to everyone, whether you're an experienced 3D artist or a beginner. Its simple, intuitive interface lets you start quickly, with no complex menus or confusing navigation options.

BoxelXR is an impressive tool for anyone interested in VR-based 3D modeling. Its intuitive interface, powerful tools make it a must-have app for anyone serious about virtual reality design.

Once you have created a model in BoxelXR, then you can export it as an OBJ file to your favourite 3D editor.

Sigue así! Keep developing!

Good app, is still basic but it have great potencial! Take in mind the posibility of make many parts individual and glue it all after! It Will expand the modeling an go for a coftable creation. Add please a scale change option for the grid and hide a little more the creation button.

Fine in general, needs more work

EDIT: I can export now, raising to 4 stars. You deserve it.
Original:
General use is simple and clean. MR mode adds a lot. Please, keep working on it.
Missing:
- Row/plane add and delete, like in MagicaVoxel. Working one voxel at a time is too tedious.
- Save doesn't work for me, so I can't export.
- Use depth sensor to detect floor, maybe snap to it.

Great potential

The potential of a true voxel editor, a true MagicaVoxel in VR. Would love to use it to design my scenes and characters, but without the ability to save/export/load it is useless.
Would love to help this tool grow.

its cool but id doesnt save/export

It has a simple but usefull design.
I would love to implement it to my workflow, but it just wont save or export.
Could be an awesome tool, but its just kinda useless.

Pretty fun, worth trying

The controls are simple. You can choose a light or dark background, toggle grid line visibility, and select from around 10 preset color palettes. There are create, paint, and erase tools. I can only do those one element at a time - here are no plane/volume tools to create, paint, or erase rows at a time (that I could find). The UI is sharp and clear. The text is fairly small but no issue for average vision on a quest pro. There's no onboarding or in-app help

A pleasant and intuitive experience

Fun way to create voxel characters or props. It does really help to see the shape in 3d using an immersive interface where you can grab, rotate and scale the object or just tilt your head around and see the full shape. The export options would make this a good start to longer production pipeline. Could also be used directly for 3d printing?
