Great experiance
I get that people want to own the movies, Which would be great however, for the two offerings currently available. I really enojoyed this new immersive way of watching movies. My suggestion would be: Having a friend mode. even if you both have to rent the movie. allow them to sync the movie in real time. So much potential here.
This is amazing! But more movies are needed!

If you prefer this scenario, then this app is for you:
You download and install the app....then you pay $5 to use it...and it looks cool...so you can't wait til you show it off to someone else a few days later...so you have to pay another $5 to do so. Rinse and Repeat.
If that sounds great to you, then this app is great.
If this sounds like a money-suck...then you're normal, and this app won't be for you.
UPDATE: I gave it another shot...and the sample of the movie failed to load after the successful calibration process. So my 1 STAR rating will permanently remain. Kudos to the Blumhouse company for attempting what they did...and I hope they try to make this thing work out better.
But after giving this two attempts, and still left feeling extremely disappointed, I gotta tap-out. 1 STAR....DO BETTER.

Rented blackphone just for the movie had no sound so couldnt watch it.
Was excited after reading some reviews, but was disappointed after watching the black phone. No 3D (except for the 1 second green bottle exploding), only moving lights around the screen and fake animation around you. No jump scares that come at you. I want my $5 back.
