App works great like it does on most devices, but as MANY other people have stated there is no way to adjust the volume of the music independently. If you want to game and listen to music, you will not be hearing your game. There is even a nice equalizer to play with, but no volume control. Please add this and I will edit to give 5 stars.
ITS COUNTERPRODUCTIVE TO HAVE MUDIC TO LISTEN TO BUT NO WAY TO COTROL THE VOLUME TO ONES COMFORT LEVEL.
PlEASE PLEASE PLEASE ADD A WAY TO CONTROL THE VOLUME LEVEL!!!!!!!!!
I like being able to stream my Amazon music through my Meta Quest headset only problem is that the app has no volume control and over powers games and talking to others in game no way to adjust the volume in app is a bummer please fix this!
Great to listen to music while playing games but devs please add volume control within the app - otherwise awesome
This would be a breakthrough and killer music app for the Meta VR space since there are no other real music/audio dedicated apps available in the Meta ecosystem through their shop.
Amazon Music absolutely needs to implement a way for users to be able to control their volume to their specific needs, environment, or experience. The volume is stuck and limited to whatever your current headset volume is at, which ultimately overpowers any other audio you might be hearing — especially if it's music that you're using it for— in another app. When I initially saw it in the store, I downloaded it immediately, thinking "okay, here we go! I can listen to music or a podcast in the background of another app or experience that might not require me to need to focus on a single source of audio, but could enhance my time in VR by adding another layer of immersion."
For example, perhaps something like one of Meta Horizon Worlds' "Bobber Bay Fishing", where you would absolutely still want to hear the environmental sounds of being by a coast or dock on a beach that are vital to transporting you somewhere else, but you simultaneously might want to listen to your favorite tunes, audiobook, or a podcast as you wait for some fish. The sound from Amazon Music should enhance, vibe with, and complement the experience as a partner and not a competitor. But since I couldn't customize the level of sound, I could only hear my music and it caused some immediate frustration, realizing that I could only enjoy this app if I was staying idle in VR.
Since this app is the only available option for music, podcasts, and audiobooks in the Meta Shop, they're PRIMED to make use of this opportunity to entice more subscribers to their platforms and it absolutely must be a priority fix.
All that said, the audio quality on its own is great. This app would be 5/5 ⭐ otherwise.
Won’t let me pick a specific song, always buts me in an album or a playlist
