Molding Expert VR ≫ Mold Design Review: Vial Mold

This mold is a vial mold that produces eight 60-milliliter vials per cycle. The tool is designed and built for Polypropylene (PP), a versatile, widely used thermoplastic known for its durability, chemical resistance, and suitability for high-volume production. As a new IAP module in our Molding Expert VR App, this experience is built around hands-on learning through guided exploration and realistic visualization of the molding process. You’ll be able to: Explore the complete mold assembly component by component, with clear identification of each element and its role in the system. Watch a full molding cycle animation to understand how the mold functions from mold close through fill, pack, cool, and part ejection. Switch to assembly and disassembly modes to virtually dismantle and assemble the tool, step by step, so you can see how the mold is constructed, how components interface, and how the full mold design comes together. Overall, the module gives you the freedom to examine every mold component in detail, review the molding cycle, and fully assemble and disassemble the mold in an interactive VR environment.
